{The Exalted in Ranks, the Possessor of the Throne, He casts the Spirit of His command upon whomsoever He wills of His servants, to warn of the Day of Meeting (15) the day they will emerge, and nothing of them will be hidden from Allah. Whose dominion today belongs to the One, the All-Mighty, (16)}

{The angels send down the Spirit of His command upon whomsoever He wishes of His servants, if they warn that there is no Allah but Me, so beware.}

————

{And thus We have revealed to you a spirit from Our command. You did not know what the Book or faith is, but We have made it a light by which We guide whomsoever We will of Our servants. And indeed, you guide to a straight path.}

{And indeed, it is a revelation of Allah to the worlds (192) with which the Faithful Spirit has sent down (193) to your heart that you may be of those who are warned (194) in a clear Arabic tongue (195) and indeed, it is in the mouth of the ancients.}

{Say: Whoever is an enemy of Jabril, he has sent it down to your heart by Allah’s permission, confirming what came before it and guidance and good tidings for the believers.}

{So when you read the Qur’an, seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the accursed. (98) Indeed, he has no authority over those who believe and put their trust in their Allah. (99) His authority is only over those who turn to Him and those who associate with Him. (100) And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse, Allah knows best what He sends down. They say, “You are only an inventor.” Nay, most of them do not know (101) Say, “It was sent down by the Holy Spirit from your Allah in truth to confirm those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for the Muslims (102) And we know that they say, ‘Only a human being knows it.’ The tongue of the one to whom they accede is foreign, and this is a clear Arabic language.”

{And We send down from the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers, and it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. (82) And when We bestow upon man, he turns away and distances himself from his side, and when evil touches him, he despairs. (83) Say, “Everyone acts according to his manner, for your Allah knows best who is best guided on the path.” (84) And they ask you about the spirit. Say, The soul is from the command of my Allah, and you have not been given of knowledge except a little. (85) And if We willed, We could go with what We have revealed to you. Then you will not find for you therein a guardian over us. (86) Except as a mercy from your Allah. Indeed, His bounty upon you was great. (87) Say, “If only mankind and the jinn gathered together to come.” With a Qur’an like this, they will not produce another like it, even if they were to support each other. (88) And We have presented to the people in this Qur’an every example, but most of the people refused, except as disbelievers. (89)}

{The revelation of the Book, in which there is no doubt, from Allah of the worlds (2) Or do they say that he has fabricated it? Rather, it is the truth from your Allah, that you may warn a people. No warner has come to them before you, so that they may be guided. (3) Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, then settled upon the Throne. What is the matter with you? Without Him there is no guardian or intercessor. Will you not remember? (4) He directs the matter from the heavens to the earth, then it ascends to Him on a day whose equivalent is a thousand years of what you count. (5) That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Mighty, the Most Merciful. (6) He Who perfected everything He created and began the creation of man from clay. (7) Then He made his offspring from a progeny of dishonorable water (8) Then He fashioned it and breathed into it of His spirit, and gave you hearing and sight and hearts. Little are you grateful. (9) And they said, “When we stray into the earth, are we truly in a new creation? Rather, they are disbelievers in meeting their Allah. (10)}

{Indeed, We sent it down on the Night of Destiny (1) and how do you know what the Night of Destiny is (2) The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months (3) the angels and the spirit descend therein by the permission of their Allah for every matter (4) peace it is until the beginning of the dawn (5)}

{The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance. Forkan: So whoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast it; and whoever is sick or on a journey, then a number of other days. Allah desires ease for you and does not desire hardship for you, and that you should complete the period and glorify Allah for having guided you, and that you may be grateful. (185) And when He asks you. My servants, I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided. (186) It is lawful for you on the night of fasting to have sexual intercourse with your women. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to circumcise yourselves, so He turned to you and pardoned you. So now engage in intercourse with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink. Until the white thread becomes distinct to you from the black thread of dawn, then complete the fast until the night and do not associate with them while you are secluded in the mosques. These are the limits of Allah, so do not approach them. Thus Allah makes clear His signs to the people that they may fear (187) And do not consume your wealth among yourselves unjustly and lead it to the rulers so that you may consume a portion of the people’s wealth. (188) They ask you about the new moons. Say, “They are appointed times for the people and for the Hajj, and righteousness is not that you approach houses from their backs, but righteousness is that of fear, and approach houses from their doors, and fear Allah, that you may succeed.”

{A questioner asked about a torment that will come (1) to the disbelievers that has no motive (2) from Allah, the Possessor of ascents (3) the angels and the spirit will ascend to Him on a day whose duration is fifty thousand years (4) so be patient with beautiful patience (5) they see it far away (6) and we see it near }

{The day when the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except those to whom the Most Gracious has permitted and who will say what is right. (38) That is the day of truth, so whoever wills may be taken to his Allah as a turning away. (39) Indeed, We have warned you of a near torment. On the Day when a person will look at what his hands have put forth, and the disbeliever will say, “Oh, I wish I were dust.}

{You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day being friendly with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their clan. Those are He wrote faith in their hearts and supported them with a spirit from Him, and He admits them to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein. May Allah be pleased with them and they be pleased with Him. These are the party of Allah. Indeed, the party of Allah. They are the successful ones}

{And mention in the Book Maryam when she withdrew from her people to an eastern place (16) and took a veil from them, so We sent to her Our spirit, and it appeared to her as a perfect human being (17) She said, “Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Gracious from you if you are pious.” (18) He said, “I am only a messenger of your Allah to give you a pure boy.” 19) She said, “How can I have a son when no human being has touched me and I am not a transgressor? (20) He said likewise. He said, ‘Your Allah is easy for me, and let us make him a sign for the people and a mercy from Us.’ And it was a matter decreed. (21)}

{And Allah set forth as an example to those who believed the wife of Pharaon, when she said, Allah, build for me a house with you in Paradise, and save me from Pharaon and his work, and save me from the wrongdoing people. (11) Maryam, daughter of Omran, who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our spirit, and she believed the words of her Allah and His books, and she was of the obedient ones. (12)}

{And she who guarded her chastity, then We breathed into her of Our Spirit and made her and her son a sign to the worlds}

{And We gave Musa the Book, and followed him with messengers, and gave Issa ibn Maryam clear proofs, and supported him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever a messenger comes to you with anything your souls do not desire, you grow arrogant, and some you deny, and some you kill.}

{Those are the messengers, We preferred some of them over others, among them were those who spoke to Allah, and raised some of them in degrees. And We gave Issa ibn Maryam clear proofs and supported him with the Holy Spirit. And if Allah had willed, those after them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them, but they disagreed. So among them were some who believed and among them were those who disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought. But Allah He does what He wants (253) O you who have believed, spend from what We have provided for you before a day comes in which there will be no selling, no friendship, and no intercession, and the disbelievers are the wrongdoers (254)}

{When Allah said, O Issa son of Maryam, remember My blessing upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Holy Spirit so that you would speak to people in the cradle and at old age, and when I taught you the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Enjil , and when you created from clay the shape of a bird by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed the blind and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought out the dead by My Permission, and when you restrained Children of Israel on the authority of you when you came to them with clear proofs, but those who disbelieved among them said, “This is nothing but clear magic.”

{O People of the Book, do not go to extremes in your religion, and do not say about Allah anything but the truth. Indeed, the Massih, Issa, son of Maryam, is the Messenger of Allah, and His word which He delivered to Maryam, and a spirit from Him, so believe in Allah and His messengers, and do not say three things: “Desist is better for you.” Allah is but one Allah. Glory be to Him to have a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the heavens. on earth, and Allah is sufficient as a disposer of affairs.}

{Say: It is great news. (67) You turn away from it. (68) I had no knowledge of the highest assembly when they disputed. (69) Indeed, it is revealed to me, except that I am only a clear warner. (70) When Your Allah said to the angels, “Indeed, I am creating human beings from clay.” (71) So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down in prostration to him (72) Then the angels prostrated, all of them together (73) except Iblis. He was arrogant and was one of the disbelievers (74) He said, “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating to what I created with my own hand? Were you arrogant or were you among the high ones?” (75) He said, “I am better than him.” You created me from fire and created him from clay. (76) He said, “Then come out of it, for you are accursed. (77) And my curse is upon you until the Day of Judgment. (78) Allah said, ‘Then wait for me until the day they are resurrected.’ (79) He said, ‘For you are of those who will wait.’ (80) Until the Day of the Known Time.”

{And when Your Allah said to the angels, “Indeed, I am creating a human being from clay from a muddy mud. (28) And when I have shaped him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down in prostration to him. (29) Then the angels prostrated, all of them, all together. (30) Except for Iblis. He refused to be with those who prostrated. (31) He said, ‘O Iblis, what do you do?’ It is for you that you should not be among those who prostrate. (32) He said, “I would not prostrate to a human being whom I created from clay, from muddy mud. (33) He said, ‘Then get out of it, for you will be accursed.’ (34) And the curse will be upon you until the Day of Judgment. (35)}

————

{Indeed, the likeness of Issa to Allah is like Adam, whom He created from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and it will be (59) The truth is from your Allah, so do not be of those who doubt. (60) So whoever disputes with you about it after the knowledge that has come to you, say, “Come, let us call together our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and your souls,” and then we will pray. So we place the curse of Allah upon the liars (61)}
