{A L R ¤ These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur’an (1) Perhaps those who disbelieve wish they were Muslims (2) Leave them to eat and enjoy themselves and let them be distracted by hope, for they will come to know (3) And We destroyed not a city except that it had a known Book (4) No nation has preceded its term or They delay (5) and say, O you to whom the Remembrance was sent down, you are truly mad (6) If only you had not brought us the angels, if you were of the truthful (7) We do not send down the angels except with the truth, and they would not have seen it (8) Indeed, it is We who sent down the Remembrance, and indeed, We will preserve it (9) And We have certainly sent down the Remembrance. We were sent before you among the sects of the ancients. (10) And no messenger comes to them but they scoff at him. (11) Thus We cause him to move into the hearts of the criminals. (12) They do not believe in him, and the Sunnah of the ancients has passed away.
{Neither the disbelievers from among the People of the Book nor the polytheists wish for any good to be sent down to you from your Allah. Allah selects for His mercy whomsoever He wills. Allah is the Possessor of Great Bounty. (105) We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten. We bring better than it or something similar to it. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things? (106) Did you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and that apart from Allah you have neither guardian nor helper? (107) Or do you want to ask your Messenger as Musa was asked before? And whoever exchanges disbelief for faith has strayed from the straight path. (108) Many of the People of the Book wish they could turn you back from After you have believed, they are unbelievers, out of envy on their own behalf after the truth has become clear to them. So pardon and forgive until Allah brings His command. Indeed, Allah has power over all things. (109) And establish prayer and pay alms. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (110) And they said: He will enter Paradise except he who is a Jew or Al-Nasarah These are their aspirations. Say, “Bring your proof, if you are truthful.” (111) Indeed, whoever submits his face to Allah and is a doer of good will have his reward with his Allah, and there is no fear upon them nor worry. They grieve (112) and Al-Yahoud said not Al-Nasarah about something and Al-Nasarah said Al-Yahoud is not upon anything and they recite the Book. Thus those who do not know say the same as their saying. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning what they differed over. (113) And who is more unjust? Of those who prevent the mosques of Allah from mentioning His name in them and seek to destroy them, those are not to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment. (114) And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever they turn, there is the face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. (115) And they said, “Allah has taken a son.” Glory be to Him. Nay, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth; each is His own. (116) Creator of the heavens and the earth, and when He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is (117)}
{Among those who are Al-Yahoud distort words from their proper place and say, “We hear” and “we disobeyed,” and “Hear without listening,” and “we obey” with their tongues and discredit the religion. And if they had said, “We hear and we obey,” and “Listen and we will see,” it would have been better for them and more upright. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they do not believe except a few. (46) O you who have been given the book, believe in what We have revealed. Confirming what is with you before We obliterate faces and turn them back on their backs or curse them as We cursed the people of the Sabbath, and Allah’s command is in effect. (47) Indeed, Allah does not forgive that anyone associates anything with Him, but He forgives anything less than that to whom He wills. And whoever associates anything with Allah has invented a great sin. (48) Have you not seen? Those who purify themselves. Rather, Allah purifies whom He wills, and does not wrong them even by the slightest trace. (49) Look at how they invent a lie against Allah, and that is enough of it as a clear sin. (50) Have you not seen those who were given a share of the Book? They believe in the [Greek] Jibt and the [Demotic] Taghut, and they say to those who disbelieve: These are better guided. (51) Of those who have believed, there is a way (51) Those are those whom Allah has cursed, and whoever Allah curses, you will never find a helper for him (52) Or do they have a share of the kingdom, so why do they not give people a reward? (53) Or do they envy the people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? Indeed, We have given the family of Ibrahim the Book and wisdom, and We have given them (54) And among them are those who believe in Him, and among them are those who turn away from Him, and Hell is sufficient as a burning. (55) Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our signs – We will send them into a Fire. Whenever their skins are cooked, We will replace them with other skins so that they may taste the torment. Indeed, Allah is Mighty, All-Wise.}
