What is the meaning of whale in the Qur’an?!
There are those who asked the question: What is the importance of knowing the meaning of the word whale, and I will try to clarify some points.
First…….. We are facing a heavenly religious text, and it is necessary and necessary to understand the speech and vocabulary of the Qur’an properly and correctly, even if for some the matter is not important.
Secondly… for any society, people or nation, when there is an external force that wants to target it to destroy it, this force first targets the founding sacred texts of this society or people by distorting their meanings. The distortion of these texts is enough to cause chaos within society… and no society can be reformed except by ridding these texts of the distortion project that has fallen upon them… and this work is very important, in restoring the correct awareness of these texts and understanding their meanings. Her message and speech to the people……. Because her holiness is a holiness that was agreed upon in the past because there is a real meaning in it and an honest, pure, natural message.
Now let us go to the word “whale” in the Qur’an
■ In the story of Musa
{And when Musa said to his girl, “I will not leave until I reach the gathering of the two seas, or I have passed a period of time.” (60) And when they reached the gathering between them, they forgot their whale, so it made its way into the sea in a swarm. (61) Then when they had passed, he said to his girl, “Bring us our lunch. We have received a hardship from this journey of ours.” (62) He said, “Did you see when we took shelter?” To the rock, for I forgot the whale, and none but Shaytan made him forget that I remembered him, and he took his way into the sea in amazement. (63) He said, “That is what we sought.” So they returned in their tracks. (64) And they found a servant of Ours to whom We had given mercy from Us and taught him knowledge from Us. (65) Musa said to him, “Did I follow you on the condition that you learn from what you have taught guidance.}

And remember, O Muhammad, when Musa said to his servant, Joshua bin Nun: I will continue walking until I reach the junction of the two seas, or I will walk for a long time until I reach the righteous servant. To learn from him what I do not have in knowledge.
They walked diligently, and when they reached the junction of the two seas, they sat at a rock and forgot their whale, which Musa had been ordered to take with him for food. Joshua carried it in a saddlebag, and the whale became alive and descended into the sea, making an open path for it.
When they left the place where they had forgotten the whale, and Musa felt hungry, he said to his servant: Bring us our lunch. We have become tired from this journey of ours.
His servant said to him: Do you remember when we took refuge in the rock where we rested? I forgot to tell you what happened to the whale, and no one forgot me to mention that to you except Shaytan, for the dead whale came to life, jumped into the sea, and made its way there, and its behavior was something to be wondered at.
Musa said: What happened is what we were asking for, as it is a sign to me of the location of the righteous servant, so they returned and recounted the traces of their walk until they reached the rock.
They found there a righteous servant from among our servants, Al-Khidr, peace be upon him – who is one of the prophets of Allah.

I am the truth… When I started reading the Qur’an seriously and with a desire to understand the speech of the Qur’an… I asked myself: Why did I imagine these texts in this way before? …Even though I did not read heritage books. Where did these meanings that match the heritage books come to me? Did you get the picture from people’s conversations or from miscellaneous information at school, television, etc.?
When I was young, I used to imagine the story of Musa and a girl… with two people on top of a big fish (the blue whale). Then the scene developed with two people walking on land with a big fish next to them… and it ended… ….And I don’t understand the rest of the details…or I wasn’t interested in understanding their meaning.
This perception is present among many people…two people walking on land to get somewhere.
According to the approach that was followed in understanding the vocabulary of the Qur’an, the Jewish book, the Old Testament, has no value. It is a book written by a Western project and its primary purpose is to distort the mind of the Muslim and distort the meanings of the Qur’an, due to the similarity in the texts of the Jewish book with the texts of the Qur’an. Muslims believe that it is a book. from Allah .
Also, the dictionaries written by the Turkish dictionaries, all of which appeared during their presence in the region, have no meaning to me. In understanding the vocabulary of the Qur’an, I rely on researching from the language of the inhabitants of the region because I believe that the meanings of the vocabulary of the Qur’an are present in the dialects of the region, because they are the heirs of the oldest tongue and the oldest sacred text. Because the Qur’an was revealed by the tongue of these people.
Also… I believe that the vocabulary of the Qur’an… is written in the first tongue… in the first vocabulary… in the first elements of the language.

What is the meaning of the word whale in the language of the residents of the region?!
In Yemen… we used to call the fish (whale)… and we called the fish market (mahwat)…
In Algeria….the fish seller is called (Hawat)…and the net for catching fish is (Hawatah)…
In Jordan (Aqaba)…the boat is called (a whale).
I do not have an example now, in that the name of something is linked to something, the name is borrowed from it…a conditional association.
But I think that the connection of the whale (boat) with fishing made people call the fish a whale.
It was enough for me that there were residents somewhere in the region who called the boat a whale, and I found that the residents of Aqaba, according to what a friend said, called the boat a whale… and it became possible that the whale was the boat.

Musa and a girl were actually on top of the whale (the boat) on a river or sea, and they wanted to reach the Bahrain Mall… until they reached the Bahrain Mall, and they got out of the whale (the boat) near the rock… and they forgot the whale (the boat) without tying it to the rock. …… So the whale (the boat) fled into the sea, and when they walked and crossed the border separating the two seas… Musa asked his boy to bring the lunch that was in the whale (the boat)…… The boy said to him: When We took refuge in the rock, for I forgot the whale, and it took a strange path in the sea, and Musa said: This thing we did not want to happen… So they returned to the rock, perhaps they would find it… And they found in the place one of the servants of Allah, and they followed their tracks with stories.
Swarba = escape
Swarm = escape
Leakage = evasion
(We did not want)… the Ottoman heritage books interpreted it as meaning… this is what we wanted…. or… what happened is what we were asking for.
But I think the sentence is clear… that this thing we did not want to happen… as evidenced by… that the same formula appears in many texts in the Qur’an.
{And We removed the rancor that was in their breasts with rivers flowing beneath them, and they said, Praise be to Allah who has guided us to this, and we would not have been guided had He not guided us.
{They said, Glory be to You, it should not have been for us to take guardians other than You, but You provided them with pleasure and their fathers until they forgot the Remembrance and became a lost people.}
{We were not tormented}
We would not have been guided = We would not have been guided by this
That’s what we wanted = we didn’t want that
We shouldn’t = we shouldn’t = we didn’t want to
We were not…a negative sentence.
That is, the letter (ma)… is for negation and is not a relative noun
The texts are clear… The Qur’an does not mention a person named Joshua bin Nun, and the Qur’an does not talk about a man named Al-Khidr, and the Qur’an does not say that the reason for Musa’ travel was to see the righteous servant… and the Qur’an does not say that he was a dead whale and then it crawled in it. He returned to life and returned to the sea, without saying that this was the sign of the emergence of a righteous man.
I would agree with anyone who says the above… if it was as a matter of deduction and interpretation.
But is there an explicit text in the Qur’an that says that the reason for the journey is to see the righteous servant?! … no .

{And indeed, Yunus was of the Messengers (139) when he was sent to the loaded ark (140) so he participated and was among those who rejected (141) then the fish ate him up while he was remorseful (142) and had he not been of the glorified ones (143) he would have remained in its belly until the day they are resurrected (144) so we cast him out into the open air while he was sick (145) and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him (146) and sent him to a hundred thousand or more (147)} {So be patient for the judgment of your Allah, and do not be like the companion of the whale when he called out while he was distressed (48) and had not a blessing from his Allah overtaken him, he would have been cast out into the open air while he was reprehensible (49) (50) So his Allah chose him and made him among the righteous. (50) Indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they heard the remembrance and said, “Indeed, he is mad.” (51)}
I think that the word (contribute) does not mean, according to heritage books… a game.
War = fight = warrior
share = contributed = shareholder
Yunus contributed (used arrows) to hunt, then he fell from the ark and was caught by a whale (boat)… Had he not been one of the swimmers, he would have been inside the boat.
I mean… a person alone inside a boat in the middle of the sea… is a scourge
The reason for the presence of the word “belly” and the word “whale” in the story is that the story turns into living creatures… and had it not been for the word “whale” in the text, the story would have been understood differently.
I mean, for example… we have a type of aircraft that we call (the eagle). Now, if I say that a person is in the belly of an eagle, does that mean that the belly means the organ found in living creatures, and does the eagle here mean the well-known bird?!
Also, the word belly… also appears in a text in the Qur’an (in the belly of Mecca).
Is Mecca a living being… and has a belly?!
This means that the meaning of the word belly in (in the heart of Mecca) is the same as the meaning of belly in the word (to stay in its belly).
If Musa whale meant ordinary fish, then Yunus whale would also be ordinary fish, and I think it is difficult to imagine a fish swallowing a human.
However, if Yunus whale meant the huge fish (blue whale), then Musa’s whale would also be the huge fish (blue whale), and I think it is difficult to imagine that a huge whale would be lunch for two people.
I am the truth……. I do not want to insist that the word whale means boat, in order to rid the Qur’an of these stories, which talk about a man inside the belly of a blue whale… and he stayed inside its belly for a long time, because they contradict reason and Science…no no
I just want to understand the meaning of the text, and if I were to confirm and be certain that Jonah’s whale is the fish, there would be no problem, because I believe in the truth of everything found in the Qur’an.

And just as we have described to you the test and trial, to reveal the fish on the surface of the water on the day on which it is forbidden for them to catch it, and to hide it from them on the day on which it is permissible for them to catch it, so we test them because of their immorality in obedience to Allah and their departure from it.

See how they made Allah glorify and sanctify the Sabbath as a right for the Al-Yahoud, and then Allah decided to abandon the sanctity of the Sabbath in favor of Friday.
A cunning game from the legacy of the Ottoman printer… And of course the Muslim, because time is in his mind because he still believes that Judaism preceded Islam, will believe the story of a Jewish Sabbath in the past, and the fact that Allah abandoned the sanctity of the Sabbath in favor of Friday.
And look… how the Ottoman heritage books invented a story consisting of 10 lines, 570 letters, and 100 words… to explain a text consisting of one line, 10 words, and 25 letters.

Their whales mean their boats
The word is clear… their whales… their boats.
I don’t know if I’m right…..but I find that the meaning is heavy in imagining a text that attributes Asmak as the king of a village.
Their fish are… difficult
Their cattle… are light and acceptable.
Their sheep… are light
As for your fish… it does not belong to anyone.
Also… the lies of the heritage stories made the Muslim enter into interpretations of an incorrect picture.. Fish come in abundance on Saturday and other than Saturday they do not come in abundance… Why?!
Because Allah used to venerate the Sabbath… A quick and simple explanation that convinces the Muslim and makes the Muslim believe that Judaism is a heavenly religion, and that Allah venerated the Sabbath… and so long as Allah He glorifies the Sabbath, so it is certain that the story will be convincing to the Muslim… because Allah will make this holy day different from the rest of the days.

These are all the verses in which the word whale appears… and I think that some people find the matter insufficient… and search for meanings and interpretations of the previous verses, but now I am faced with a single meaning and not before the explanation and interpretation of those stories… abandoned. To manage everyone and time.
However, there are questions on my mind, related to the previous verses, and I want to pose them to everyone:
■ Is the boat that ran away from Musa at the Bahrain Complex…and made its way into the sea in a strange way, the same boat that Allah wanted to make him catch up with Yunus?!
■ Did Musa take the whale (the boat) from the village that was by the sea?
■ Was the day on which Musa arrived at the Bahrain complex with his boy a Saturday?
■ What is the secret of the Sabbath, and the frequent talk about it?!
{And when We took a covenant with you and raised above you the Mount: “Take what We have given you with strength, and remember what is in it that you may become righteous. (63) Then you turned away after that. Had it not been for the grace of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers. (64) And you knew those of you who transgressed on the Sabbath, so We said to them, “Be apes, despised.”}
{And We raised above them the Mount with their covenant, and We said to them, “Enter the gate prostrate,” and We said to them, “Do not transgress the Sabbath,” and We took from them a solemn covenant.}
{O you who have been given the book, believe in what We have sent down, confirming what is with you before We obliterate faces and turn them back on their backs, or curse them as We cursed those who followed the Sabbath, and Allah’s command is in effect.}
{The Sabbath was only made for those who disagreed about it, and indeed, Your Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding what they differed about.}
■ What is the secret of the Bahrain Complex, and where are they?
I think that the word “whale” only occurs in this region…the Bahrain complex. As for the story of Yunus, it is a boat that escaped from this place in a strange way and made its way to the sea.
The Qur’an talks about the complex of the two seas… about a fresh sea and a salt sea, with an isthmus between them… and at the complex is a rock… and it talks about a village present at the sea with whales (boats).
I believe that Musa was not looking for a righteous man, but rather he was looking for a secret in the Bahrain complex…it contains a strange secret.
I believe that the story of Musa is intended to answer this question.
