Some excerpts of a speech by Leader Ali Abdullah Saleh, the former President of Yemen, which he delivered on September 25, 2016:
What is the secret of this war? I will address to you a call, O Muhammad bin Nayef. What is the secret of this war, and you know it well? The reports that I submitted to the Royal Court were the result of a bag that left Sanaa Airport to Dubai Airport and informed the Americans before it informed the Royal Court under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah. The Americans informed us, and we contacted King Abdullah and said, “How can you talk to the Americans without talking to us?” King Abdullah was surprised. This is what provoked the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef when King Abdullah became angry with him, may Allah have mercy on him. How can you inform the Americans without informing me when I am the king of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? King Salman incited the aggression against Yemen. As for Mohammed bin Salman, he was a young man with no rivalry between him and Yemen. The Yemen file was in the hands of Muhammad bin Nayef until before the death of King Abdullah, and he knows every little thing and every big thing. Their right is the current ambassador. This is one of the big hypocrites (Fifty-Fifty). He submits reports for which he receives the price and divides it in half between him and the informant. They are the cause of the problem in Yemen’s relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
