Media war is one of the means of psychological warfare. It may be successful or unsuccessful depending on the good or bad applications. Psychological warfare aims to create gaps and weaknesses in the public front of a society, nation, or state by bringing about change in the human being, his principles, and his tendencies, since the human being is the center of our world and the pillar of his development and conduct, and since he exchanges influence with the group and is affected by it. And it affects it. With frustration, pressure, loss of prestige, disruption of order, and ignition of rebellions and internal wars…it is a new game of nerves, ideas, and rumours, denying the unconscious mind and alienating the resources it needs and the ways it can take to comprehend the truth. The reality that is happening is that it is a game of transforming the masses into tools working for the benefit of the opposing forces. Psychological warfare is an integral part of the operations of mobilization and counter-mobilization. The development of psychological sciences and contemporary technological means has greatly accelerated the development of the means and tools of this war, and we have found In recent wars, the extent of psychological warfare is carried out through advanced media means, and it is still doing its work, especially when the media war becomes directly influential in the continuation of the war and putting an end to it at the expense of those who do not possess the counter-media with the same technological power and the same psychological sciences. Some people think that psychological warfare is a modern phenomenon, but in reality it is a very ancient practice, known to humans and resorted to by intelligent and accomplished rulers and leaders since ancient times.
