Before entering into the topic, I have an observation that I found by following the pages that discuss and study the verses of the Qur’an, and I find it important for those who want to understand the Quranic text, and for those who are confused between interpretations and cannot settle on a final meaning.
■ We have a subconscious perception that views the ancients as being closer to the truth, and this perception made us believe that the interpretations of the ancients are the correct ones, because they are closer to the time of the revelation of the Qur’an, while the truth is that the ancients were like us, striving as we strive today, and they are not conclusive interpretations. Why ?
Logically, because the Qur’an did not bring with it another book to interpret it, and if what the first two people said was correct, everyone would have agreed on one specific interpretation, but the reality is the opposite of this, as they all have different interpretations, even the first books that appeared and interpreted the Qur’an. One book contains several Opinions on the interpretation of a single verse……. This excludes the fact that some of the first books that interpreted the Qur’an deliberately tried to create interpretations in order to falsify and distort the meanings of the Qur’an, so that the correct meaning would not reach us.
In other words, we have been on a journey of interpretation of the Qur’anic text for centuries
■ We cannot begin to understand the Qur’an without having a curriculum, because the curriculum gives you the basis on which you can contemplate, meditate, and understand the Qur’an in general, and when we encounter a verse, we will present it to the curriculum, and when the curriculum fails due to difficulty in interpreting a verse, then we review the curriculum. We fix part of it, and with time the approach becomes more stable.
For example, when we said that we are on a journey of interpretation of the Qur’anic text, and that the interpretations of the ancients are not conclusive, this makes us obtain a stable, strong, correct part, and this part is among several other parts that we must obtain, in order to build a stable, solid ground from which we can proceed in understanding. Texts of the Qur’an.
One of the benefits of the approach is that it prevents you from getting into confusion and confusion in understanding the meanings of the verses of the Qur’an. For example, when a new interpretation comes, we abandon a previous interpretation and so on, which is not a bad thing. Rather, the bad thing is that we do not know on what basis, why, or whether it is true. correct . Especially with the emergence of waves of modern interpretations that link the Qur’an to modern sciences and secular and liberal concepts.
The approach also protects us from playing with the facts and against the charlatan interpretations that are attached to the Qur’an, because the texts of the Qur’an may speak about distant and different topics, and there are those who attach the texts of the Qur’an to false things in order to confirm and establish them as being from Allah, thus falsifying reality to us. At the same time, it distances us from the correct and true meaning found in the texts of the Qur’an.
Was the Qur’an revealed all at once or as an astrologer?
In my opinion, this is the fundamental question related to the Qur’an, because reaching a final, conclusive result will make us understand the Qur’anic text to a greater extent, and will answer many questions revolving around the Qur’anic text and reveal a great history linked to the beginning of Islam.
First, we must look at the awareness that Muslims have in answering this question and which they follow while understanding the Qur’an, and try to understand the reasons that led to the formation of this awareness.
In general, all Muslims of all sects believe that the Qur’an was revealed during the 23 years of the Prophet’s life, and on this point there are two ideas:
{Indeed, We sent it down on the Night of Decree}
{Indeed, We sent it down on a blessed night. Indeed, we were warners.}
{The holy month of Ramadan in which the first revelation of the Quran took place}
1- The first idea is that what is meant by the revelation of the Qur’an in the previous verses was that it was revealed in one sentence (all at once) to the lowest heaven, and then it was revealed in an astrologer to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years according to the events and situations.
The word astrologer, as people understand it, means according to the event and the situation, but in the interpretations of the heritage it says that the Qur’an was descended to the lower heaven between the locations of the stars, and it was revealed to the Prophet as stars… and I believe that this idea is similar to the idea of astral projection.
2- The second idea is that what is meant by the revelation of the Qur’an in the three verses is the beginning of the revelation of the Qur’an to the Prophet, and then its revelation continues according to events and situations throughout a period of 23 years.
3- There is an idea that exists according to the jurisprudence of the heritage, but we will not discuss it, because it does not exist in the conviction of the Muslim today. This idea says that the Qur’an was revealed on 23 nights of destiny, over a period of 23 years, and every year a part of it descends to the lower heaven and then a mine descends according to Facts and events.
I believe that there is no difference in the previous schools of thought regarding the idea of the revelation of the Qur’an, that is, there is no fundamental difference between them, and whoever believes in any school of thought, the final result will be the same in understanding the Qur’an. Because the basic idea of all previous schools of thought is that the Qur’an was not sent down to earth all at once.
Let us explain the contradiction in the idea found in these schools of thought that the Qur’an was revealed as a mine.
– As long as the Qur’an was sent down all at once to the lowest heaven, and after it was an astrologer, what is the objection then from the beginning from its descent to the earth all at once and the Prophet reads the revelation from the Qur’an, and every verse will be known by the Prophet and will correspond to the event.
– If the Qur’an was revealed as an astrologer from the beginning, then those Qur’anic verses contradict this statement, because the Qur’an is precise in its words. The verse says {the month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed}. The Qur’an in the verse is a special word. There is also a verse that speaks clearly and explicitly {Read in the name of your Allah} This is consistent with the previous perception. It was revealed all at once and the Prophet was reciting from it.
Why is there fear about the idea of the Qur’an being revealed all at once?
■ I believe that the first and foremost reason is the Prophet’s biography.
Because according to the biography, the Prophet did not move until after Jebril came down with the revelation to support his position. This perception is what granted the biography great sanctity, and at the same time, inversely, granted the biography sanctity to the text, and made the relationship between the Qur’an and the biography a necessary relationship.
It has become as if we are watching a feature film in front of us, and every scene that passes in front of us is confirmed by the Qur’anic text. A union occurred between the divine text and the biography of Ibn Hisham, especially since Ibn Hisham’s fictional biography was able to present scenes that could explain verses that the reader of the Qur’an is unable to understand.
■ Another reason comes, and to the same degree as before, is the origin of religion, because without that story, you will not find a meaning for the Qur’anic text, and what is the origin of religion. Because if the idea was one revelation, why did it descend all at once, and the question will come after it: how did it descend? Then comes another big question: How does the Qur’an address the Prophet in each Surah in different places and different situations? And all these questions are evaded towards that perception.
■ The third reason, which comes second, is the interpretation of those Quranic verses about the revelation of the Qur’an.
We will try to address these previous concerns and the accompanying questions, but after we know the answer to the previous question: Was the Qur’an revealed as an astrologer?
We will not be able to answer the question through heritage books. This is a mistake. We have to know the answer from within the Qur’an itself, and the process is easy and not difficult, because any text, whatever this text may be, easily reveals itself and answers the questions that revolve around it. .
Let’s search in the Qur’an
● The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.
The verse is clear…..the Qur’an was revealed in the month of Ramadan.
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form…the month of Ramadan in which the revelation was revealed. But the verse talks about an entity that has become perfect and has been named from the beginning by the Qur’an
َ
ٌ
● Say, “Which thing is greater than witness?” Say, “Allah is a witness between me and you.” And this Qur’an was revealed to me that I might warn you thereby.
The verse is very clear… The Qur’anic text talks about an entity that has become complete and complete, and it is this Qur’an that is in our hands. The word (this Qur’an) is a noun referring to a complete entity.
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form… Allah is a witness between me and you, and Allah revealed to me that I might warn you.
● And when the Qur’an is recited, listen to it and be silent that you may receive mercy.
The verse is very clear… The text did not say: And if the Qur’an is recited or if the Qur’an is recited… And if this Qur’an is recited… And the reading is only for a physical entity within which there are texts… And Allah says: And when it is recited, then listen and listen. .
If the Qur’an was revealed as an astrologer, the verse would be in this form…. And if the revelation comes to you… listen to it and listen.
َ
● And when Our verses are recited to them as clear signs, those who do not hope for the meeting with Us say, “Bring a Qur’an other than this, or change it.”
The verse is very clear… Bring a Quran other than this Quran. Meaning that they are talking about a complete, complementary entity. They say to the Prophet, “Bring me a Qur’an other than the one we have.”
This means that if the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, there would have been no need for the word “this Qur’an.”
● And this Qur’an was not to be fabricated other than Allah, but rather the confirmation of what is before it and the details of the Book, of which there is no doubt, are from the Allah of the Worlds.
It is assumed that this verse is the last verse revealed in the Qur’an, if it were an astrologer, but according to the books of interpretations it was revealed in Mecca. Although the verse is very clear, this Qur’an that is in our hands was not forged by anyone other than Allah, but rather a confirmation and elaboration of the Book (what is the Book?!).
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in this form… This revelation would not have been a lie, rather it was from Allah.
َ
َ
● We narrate to you the best stories of what We have revealed to you this Qur’an, even though before it you were among the heedless.
The verse is very clear… …it addresses the Prophet… by telling him the best stories of what was revealed to him (this Qur’an)… This means that the Prophet reads from a complete, complete, complete entity.
If this verse was revealed as an astrologer, how would Jebril reveal to the Prophet and tell him about this Qur’an?! In other words, if he had been an astrologer, Jebril would have addressed the Prophet without mentioning the phrase “this Qur’an,” and in the form: We relate to you the best stories of what We have revealed to you, even if you Whoever came before it was for those who were heedless…but the verse says: This is the Qur’an.
That is, this Qur’an reached the Prophet, complete and complete, and revelation is the Qur’an that reached the Prophet.
َ
ٍ
● And We have given you seven of the verses and the Great Qur’an.
َ
Very clear… The Prophet was given this Qur’an and the Mathani, meaning complete and perfect.
If the Qur’an had been sent down as an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form… And indeed We have given you the revelation so that it may be a Qur’an for the people, and We have given you the repeated verses.
َ
● When you read the Qur’an, seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan.
The revelation addresses the Prophet to seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, when reading the Qur’an, meaning the Prophet reads this Qur’an in full and complete.
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in this form…. So if you read some of the previous verses of the Qur’an that have reached you, seek refuge in Allah.
● Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do righteous deeds that for them will be a great reward.
And We have indeed interpreted in this Qur’an that they may remember, but it only increases their repulsion.
The verses speak of a complete and perfect entity that guides people and contains everything.
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form… This revelation guides to that which is most upright.
● And when you read the Qur’an, We will place a veil between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter.
The verse is clear… The Prophet reads from a complete and perfect entity, which is in his hands and its name is the Qur’an.
● And a Qur’an which We have divided into parts so that you may recite it to the people over a period of time, and We have sent it down as a final revelation.
The verse is clear…. The revelation addresses the Prophet while he had this Qur’an with him, by making the Qur’an divided for him so that he could recite it to the people slowly.
If it had been revealed by an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form of…..a revelation that we have separated, asterisked, or sent down so that it could be conveyed to the people slowly.
● We have not sent down the Qur’an to you so that you should be miserable.
The verse is very clear………. it addresses the Prophet that this Qur’an was not revealed to him so that he would be miserable
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form… We did not send down to you Jebril or the revelation so that you should be miserable.
● So exalted be Allah, the True King. And do not hasten with the Qur’an before its revelation has been completed to you. And say, “My Allah, increase me in knowledge.”
The verse is clear… The revelation tells the Prophet not to rush a complete material entity into his hands whose name is the Qur’an… until the revelation in the Qur’an decrees for him. This indicates that the Qur’an is a revelation
If he had been an astrologer, the verse would have been in the form… Do not rush to convey the revelation, until Jebril stops descending to you. This means that the Messenger must inform his people a day or hours before his death. And he recites the Qur’an to them.
● And the Messenger said, O Allah, my people have considered this Qur’an to be abandoned.
The verse is very clear……. The Messenger addresses his Allah that the people have abandoned this Qur’an… How does the Prophet address his Allah that his people have abandoned the Qur’an? This means that there are people who exist and there is a complete, complete material entity called the Qur’an.
If the Qur’an had been revealed as an astrologer, the verse would have been in this form… And the Messenger said that my people had abandoned revelation.
—————————-
I think the picture appears clearer, and this will make us find consistent and solid answers on topics related to the Qur’an.
– The topic of the copyist and the abrogated
Our previous result makes us understand that the story of the abrogator and the abrogated is deliberately fabricated, and if some say that it is because there are contradictory verses, then this is an illusion… because the Qur’an is a revelation. When reading the Qur’an, we must deal with the Qur’an as a heavenly revelation, that is, we deal with a logical and non-contradictory awareness throughout the Qur’an, and if we find something illogical and contradictory, the reason is us and not the Qur’an. Previous perceptions make you believe that the Qur’an is contradictory and illogical. Also, your normal way of thinking is what makes you understand the text illogically, and if we arrive at sound logic that opposes the Qur’anic text, then you are certain that the meaning is different from the meaning you impose on the Qur’anic text.
– Collecting and arranging the Qur’an
Also, our previous result makes us realize that the story of the compilation of the Qur’an and its arrangement according to what was said in the tradition is fabricated and deliberate, because belief in that story will create extreme difficulty in understanding the Qur’an. To add more… If we examine the surahs of the Qur’an, we will find there a word or meaning link between the surah and the one before and after it… and this is the meaning of the verse:
And a Qur’an which We have divided into parts so that you may recite it to the people over a period of time, and We have sent it down as a revelation.
– Medinan and Meccan surahs
Also, the story of Meccan and Medani is fabricated, to create fictitious times that make us understand the Qur’an differently and incorrectly. It creates imaginary worlds for us that hinder our understanding of the text.
Therefore, I believe… that all those topics and writings that were written in the past about the Qur’an are for one goal, which is… so that the meanings of the Qur’an are not conveyed to us… so that we do not understand the truth. We do not understand what happened… and we do not understand the story of history that happened… in order to tempt people and leave them in blindness and chaos. This is the meaning of the verse
{And those who disbelieve say, “Do not listen to this Qur’an, but distort it in order that you may overcome.”}
——————
Finally, we can now address that fear of the idea of the Qur’an being revealed all at once, which results from those previous questions
Belief in Allah is a human nature that we have inherited. It is not necessary to have a prophetic biography or the books of Al-Bukhari or Al-Tabari in order to believe in Allah.
– The Qur’an is a prophecy for Muhammad only, and the Prophet saw the future and this is the prophecy for people.
– Islam was not a new event as depicted in biography and history books. Never believe it, because you will never understand the Qur’an, no matter how much they try to convince you. Their deception is such that mountains will move from it, because the Prophet came while the people were Muslims and he came to them with prophecy.
– The foundations of Islam are the origins of the beginning of creation, nature, and there is a book hidden in the West, and this book is the book of the prophets. The Romans and the West worked hard to falsify awareness by creating a fictitious history, falsifying information, and fabricating events so that Muslims would not find this book.
{That book no doubt guidance for the righteous}
This Qur’an that is in our hands is a detail of that hidden book about which there is no doubt
{This Qur’an was not intended to be fabricated other than Allah, but rather to confirm what is before it and detail the Book, in which there is no doubt, from Allah, the worlds}
The disappearance of this book is the reason for the world’s disorientation, the reason for all this illusion that has fallen upon us, and the reason for all the chaos that has occurred and is occurring until today.
