Why am I asking this question? This question is among many other questions that discuss important topics, and I find it necessary to ask and discuss them in order to come up with logical, convincing, and confirmed answers. It is true that the topic falls primarily within the goal of contemplating and studying the Holy Qur’an and a correct understanding of the speech of the Holy Qur’an. But at the same time, we are raising this issue because we are currently facing an old Zionist project, which returned almost seven decades ago, and it carries with it a religious book (the Old Testament) as a legal document by which it claims that it has an ancient heritage in our region, and this project has He anticipated this moment with an intellectual and media project from centuries ago until today, to create a collective Zionist awareness in the region that would be submissive to this project and convinced by the story. This project has been able to penetrate minds through a very important and dangerous approach, which is religion and faith. As everyone knows, most of the region are Muslims and they have a religious book that contains texts similar to the texts of the Old Testament book that the West introduced to our region……… This penetration was able to make many Muslims fall into the trap and began to carry a Zionist religious and historical awareness without realizing it. This penetration forces us to resist it, and makes us ask another question, which is: How can we confront this project, when even today no one knows what the Torah and the Old Testament are and the difference between them? These are the reasons that made us ask questions about the topic: What is the difference between the Torah and the Old Testament? The answer to this question requires our entry into history, the presentation of evidence, etc., and a very long discussion, which may require pages. Of course, this thing is really required and necessary, but we will postpone it to another historical topic, because we will discuss this topic from a specific point of view for a group of people. The people are Muslims, and only from a religious aspect of the Qur’an, that is, now we will reflect on the Holy Qur’an and study it only. The issue is now being discussed by Muslims who believe in the Holy Qur’an that it is an authentic text and there is no suspicion of falsehood in it. Let us now discuss the topic: Was the Torah revealed to Musa only? Did the Torah exist before Musa? These questions are easy to answer in the awareness of the Muslim today, and this awareness is the product of the heritage books that were introduced to the Muslim mind, and which appeared all at once in a certain period of time, and they are what established this awareness of this established idea, and increased the religious discourse today, which has a network Huge media outlets, rooting and consecrating a Zionist awareness and a false awareness other than the awareness of the Holy Qur’an. Of course…… The direct answer to the previous questions is that the Torah was revealed to Musa, and there was no Torah before him. But if we ask a related question: Where did this idea come from? 1- I believe that the first basis for this idea came from the biography of the Prophet, which stated that the Qur’an was revealed during the presence of the Al-Yahoud in the city of the Messenger, including the Al-Yahoud of Qaynuqa, Khaybar, etc. This means that the Qur’an came after the book of the Al-Yahoud present in Medina, and it is the Torah that was revealed. Ali Musa, also a story in the biography of the Prophet, talks about a Jew who converted to Islam and brought the Al-Yahoud to convert to Islam, and he confirmed that the name of the Prophet Muhammad is present in the book of the Al-Yahoud of Medina, but they are hidden….. This story made the Messenger support the book of the Al-Yahoud, but only the name of the Prophet is hidden from it. The story was reflected in the awareness of Muslims today. This is the basic information that formed this idea among Muslims, and made it a belief. The Muslim completely believes that what the Al-Yahoud have today is the Torah, only distorted and hidden from it…but in general it is the Torah of Musa. 2- There are also reasons for the revelation and stories in the biography that tried to explain the verses that talk about Musa and the Torah, and that they were talking about incidents that took place in the time of the Messenger with the Al-Yahoud and the verses of the Qur’an were revealed to confirm them. 3- There are heritage books in which the stories of the prophets were mentioned, which further consolidated this idea in awareness. We will not discuss these aspects related to the topic, they will be in another separate article. But I pose important questions to Muslims: Why was the Torah and the story of Musa mentioned in this way in the Qur’an, just small and not detailed references, and in that language? What was the obstacle to detailing the story as in heritage books and the stories of the prophets, and what was the obstacle to explaining what it is? The Torah and the presentation of verses and texts from the Torah? Rather, what is the reason for talking about the Torah and the story of Musa? His story is known to everyone and to the Al-Yahoud. Is it a competition and a competition in who can tell the most beautiful and best story? My questions are for those who believe in the Holy Qur’an and that it is a very correct text. As long as the Holy Qur’an is the first, basic, correct and divine text that was revealed to the Muslim, it is assumed that any other text other than this text came and appeared after this Qur’anic text… In other words, the Qur’an is the first and previous text, and other than this text it is not It expresses the truth, because the Qur’an is the original text. Therefore, a Muslim is required to make the Qur’an his first reference for understanding the story of Musa and understanding the meaning of the Torah. Otherwise, it is not true, but rather forgery and distortion, no matter how much you like it. Now let us go to the Qur’an and do research and ponder its verses. Allah, such are the disbelievers} If we search in all the verses of the Qur’an, we will find in them great praise and a positive view towards the Torah, and there is no condemnation or slander towards it. While the reality is different…the Muslim views the Jewish book as a distorted book. The verse is clear… The Qur’an says: We revealed the Torah in general, not specifically, and that it is a book of guidance and light. Rather, it makes the Torah a book of judgment for all the prophets. The verse is clear… it speaks of a general rule in every place and time, that is, it is not like the heritage books and interpretation books falsified awareness when they made this verse have a special occasion, a specific time and a specific place….. the verse is a general rule… ..We sent down the Torah so that the prophets might judge by it (and there is no specific prophet like Muhammad). The verse makes it clear to us that Allah sent down the Torah in general… meaning, Allah did not send it down to any specific person, that is, He sent it down to be a reference for the prophets to rule by it. This means that there were many prophets, and the Torah was a source of arbitration for them, and He did not send down the Torah to anyone. Musa . The verse explains to us… that the Torah was revealed from the beginning and is guidance and light, and it was revealed from the beginning to be a source of arbitration for the prophets, and it was revealed while there were Muslims. This means that the Torah was created in order for the prophets to rule by it, among those who submitted to Islam in the forefront, for those who They became Al-Yahoud, priests and monks in the end. ■ {And We have given Musa the Book that they may be guided} If we search in all the verses of the Qur’an, we will find that not a single verse says, “We sent down the Book to Musa.” Rather, the word is always associated with Musa (We gave Musa the Book), even with Issa (We gave Issa the Enjil ). Why? The constant emphasis and care in the Qur’an is that the word “We come” is not the word “We sent down.” This means that there is a difference between the words (we descended and we came). The word we came…. is related to something from the beginning, that is, to the beginning of the existence or appearance of the thing. The word we came…. is related to something that already exists, meaning that a person obtains something that already exists. Note the verse………… Allah gave Musa the Book, not the Torah. Musa always says in verses of the Qur’an: “The Book is given” and “The Torah is not given,” and there is a difference between the Torah and the Book. Because if there was a difference, the word “Book of the Torah” would have been mentioned in the Qur’an, or the word “Torah” would have been replaced with the word “Book,” especially since other verses in the Qur’an combine the Book, the Torah, and the Enjil in one sentence. ■ {And He teaches him the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Enjil } Notice the verse…. How it mentions four things in teaching Issa: the Book, the Wisdom, the Torah, and the Enjil . This means that the Torah is one thing and the Book is another different thing. Notice also….the verse did not say: We descended, nor did we come, but rather He knew it. Does Allah send down a book to a prophet, then teach him how this book should be? The word “teach” means that there is something that pre-exists, or is known in advance, but it is far from people, and there is someone who will know this pre-existing thing. Notice…the connection of knowledge between the Torah and the Enjil , and this means that what applies to the Enjil that Allah taught Issa applies to the case of the Torah as well, and it requires knowledge in order for a person to obtain it, that is, until he becomes one of those to whom Allah gave the Book, the Torah, and the Enjil ( That is, until the Torah or the Enjil is given to this person. Of course…..there are many other verses that require contemplation, and their discussion will be on other topics during our journey with the Holy Qur’an, but I preferred these verses because they fulfill this topic and give us a clear picture of the results: ● The Torah was not revealed to anyone specifically according to the Qur’an. Rather, Allah made it from the beginning to be a reference. ● All the prophets had the Torah, and Musa, if Allah had given him the Torah, would be a very ordinary case among all the prophets. ● The Torah is specific to Muslims and contains guidance, light, and their reference. ● The Torah was not revealed to Musa ● The Book was not revealed to Musa, but rather Allah gave him the Book, that is, He taught Musa the Book until he obtained it (He gave him the Book). . ● The Torah is not a book for legislation or establishing a new religion, but rather a reference for arbitration. Finally, then… How does the Muslim now resolve this contradiction regarding the Torah being the book of the Muslims and their reference, and his lack of belief in the book of the Al-Yahoud? Is the book of the Al-Yahoud today the book of the Muslim, in which there is guidance, light, and his reference, as Allah commanded that in the Qur’an? No…… What exists today among the Al-Yahoud is not the Torah at all, neither remotely nor close to it, and there is not a single letter in it that connects it to the true Torah. What exists among the Al-Yahoud today…is called the Book of the Old Testament, not the Torah…and the Muslim is supposed to adhere to this name when mentioning the Book of the Al-Yahoud…its name is the Old Testament. Why has there been confusion among Muslims? Heritage is the most important reason, because most of the heritage came out once in a certain time, and was created specifically to create this awareness. The Old Testament is the book that Rome brought out when it entered the region, and during its entry it obtained the original and true copy of the Torah. So it summoned 70 men to translate the Torah, which was written in a clear Arabic language, and the mission ended by producing a book in a Hebrew language (they created a new language for the new book) and it has nothing to do with it. In truth, neither from near nor from afar… an artificial book made for the sake of creating a fake, imaginary ancient world that has no connection to the truth, a project of a large empire to falsify awareness, the region, and the entire world. {And among them is a party who twist their tongues with the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book. And they say, “It is from Allah,” but it is not from Allah, and they say a lie against Allah while they know it.) Reread the verse, until you reach the word (that you may think it is) and repeat it several times, so that you may think it. .. To think it… To think it…. Do you not today think that the book of the Old Testament is the book of the Torah and that it is a heavenly book from Allah? It is not from the Book and it is not from Allah… Rather, it is from Rome…
